“US Attacks Venezuela: Why Maduro’s Capture Could Escalate the Crisis”

US Attack & Capture: According to the video, the USA has launched bombing attacks on the capital of Venezuela.

Subsequently, the US President Donald Trump said that the American troops had taken Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and taken him to New York to stand trial in court.

 Venezuela Response:

According to the military generals and the Defense Minister of Venezuela, they will not give in and will fight-back to defend the sovereignty of the country.

The Operation: The capture is characterized as a very precise operation that might feature the US Delta Force in the same way, as the raids that captured Osama bin Laden and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. It swamped through several security levels, such as Russian and Chinese control.

 Global & Internal Reactions

US Media Position: American media and geopolitical analysts have come out strongly to condemn the move with reports terming the attack as an illegal and unwise one. This is feared to be a bad precedent that other countries such as Russia or China would leverage on in the future.

International Condemnation: The bombing has been condemned by most South American countries. Russia has termed it as an armed aggression and accused the US of imperialism to control the huge oil deposits of Venezuela.

Diplomatic Background: The President Maduro had only a few hours prior to the attack during which a Chinese special ambassador was seen sitting with him, which showed the abruptness of the American attack.

 Potential Consequences

Next Targets (Russia and Iran): The video examines the fact that US is taking an ultra-aggressive position. This is on the speculation that the US may then direct the Russian oil vessels, which would also have dire effects on worldwide oil chains of supply.

 Affect on India:

India imports oil at a significant price in Venezuela and hence any blockade or interference would raise the price of crude oil which will adversely affect the economy of India and the rate of growth.

Regime Change:

It is possible that the opposition party of Venezuela would strive to establish a government to put off another US bombing. Provided that the military permits it, the war may end up being de-escalated but otherwise, massive destruction is dreaded.
